We lucked out, an unfortunate warm spell brought no measurable precipitation. The thaw was bad enough, the roads will be hell when it gets normal (cold) again. (Aha, weather, I told you so!)

I've spent the evening reading a late holiday gift (coming indirectly from my brother)of trade paperbacks of Batman: Under the Hood and enjoying them. A good choice. I'm finding that I start to prefer the trades to the regular comics--easier to store, for one thing--but I don't have the patience to give up the old-fashioned kind. So reading comics all night = no actual thoughts to write right now. (That's my excuse today, in any case.)

I have to admit that I've just not been following the election coverage with much enthusiasm, but then I am in Michigan so my primary vote won't allow me all the choices I might want. Despite the fact that I'm not all that thrilled with any of the possible options, I'd still rather have more. Did people really have enthusiasm for their candidates back in the old days? It's hard to imagine.
