Thank you angiereedgarner! The Hestia painting arrived today, and it is a wonderful, luminous thing. I've got it in a frame, but haven't decided where to hang it quite yet (I'm worried about it fading in sunlight, which limits the walls I can use). I hope your eBay project went well :).

Oh! I'm glad you are pleased. :-D Post a picture of it when you get it hung?

I wouldn't worry about sunlight-- the oil paint is as lightfast as is available... it will darken slightly with age as all oils do-- so a true bright white ages to pale cream. Sun might be hard on your frame.
