Just in case anyone on my Friends List is concerned, not only have I never used Frienditto, I never heard of it until yesterday. Doesn't seem like all that useful an application anyway, does it?

What on earth IS frienditto? This is the 4th blog I've run across that mentions it, and I'm totally lost! Please? A little help here?

It's a service where people could go to (if I understand correctly) archive copies of LJ posts, either ones they made themselves or ones made by others. Once archived, these posts could be searched on by anyone who belonged to the service. The big controversy seems to have been that users had to give their LJ password to enable Frienditto to do their thing.

I'm not all that familiar with it, but since I knew that apparently some folks on my FL were concerned about other folks' use of it (and potential access to their own posts) I wanted to reassure people.
