Rambling catch-up

hearthstoneStuff's okay, haven't felt like posting much lately is all. Feeling pretty good on the whole but would like to be sleeping better.
Been chopping wood--actually stacking it since I pulled a muscle chopping and can't quite heft an ax yet, give me a day or two. But it's getting there. Endlessly amused by the dog's efforts to steal wood. And hoping for a late winter.
Need to ask folks what they want to focus on for study groups this winter once everyone has settled in for the season--we've done lore study and god study before, have done runes as well although I know not everyone is interested in that. (One year we attempted two groups a month but that was really too much.) I think just about everyone has had enough experience that a general "About Heathenry" study would be unnecessary, although it might be fun to have one session when folks discuss particulars of personal practice. So I need to give that some thought. Winternights will be coming up soon as well, but we've got a ritual format that we like and have used for years, so prep is minimal for that.
Working mainly on rearranging the house and clearing stuff out of the basement. One of those "should've done it years ago" things, you know? You always find a few gems, though.
