Fast-food poachers

I was at Hardee's tonight, picking up a burger to go. The guy waiting on us was in a great mood, apparently, everything was "super!" and he seemed overjoyed to see every customer. While we were waiting, he was also taking orders at the drive-through, and came back looking slightly bemused. Turned out he'd just served some guy from the local Taco Bell (I guess they get tired of tacos eventually), and the guy had offered him a job! At the drive-through window! Handed him his card and all that. You know, I've never been an employer, but it seems to me that there's just something a bit tacky about that...
