I am playing Deluxe & Unleashed- that's about all my system can handle at the moment. ;-) Happily though, we are doing our yearly upgrade this weekend (three more days 'til 120 gigs!) and then I want to get all the others- Hot Date, Vacation, Makin' Magic. ;-)
Bye-bye sleep. :-D
Have you gals seen SIMS 2? My Hubby just looked into it, says it has amazing graphics. But me, I'm old fashioned- I'll stick with the original SIMS for a while yet.
Right now I have just the original and Living Large, which I think is all that will run on Mac OS 8.5. If I upgrade to 9.1 there will be a couple of others I can add, but most of their new ones require at least 9.2 and we can't go any further than 9.1 on our ancient computers. I thought that would keep me from going too crazy--but if there are downloads... hee hee!
Ah! Living large is fine for most downloads, so you're all good. I have to be honest, I find it harder to maneuver my Sims with Hot Date, but its not so bad with House party.
Whatever you do, get yourself The Sims File Cop from the main sims site. (some other sites have it too, but since its an application I would get it from the main site anyway) it will clear out bad files, skins, objects, walls and stuff like that and make your game less crashable. You also can fix those bad files in many cases.
File Cop, huh? I will have to look for it. I have definitely been having happy downloading. Got a bunch of stuff last night and my daughter is trying it out on the other computer even as I type on this one.
One downside is that since I read my email on that other computer, I am a little behind on it!
