Dan put up my altar to Dionysos today--it's still empty, but looks good anyway. I'm so pleased to have it up!

I've been planning to make a mask to use as an image, papier mache and paint and so forth. At least, that's the plan. I'm not sure I have the skill to do a good job, never having made one before, but I'm looking forward to giving it a shot.

We do, actually, have a mask that I could use. Dan reminded me of it today. We got it a few years back when we went to Convocation, and it certainly has a Dionysian look to it. But I'm not sure if I want to use it or not.

In any case, I'm going to try to do my own.

Very cool. I have thought about doing a mask for him too. There was a cover on Mary Renault's Mask of Apollo that has always seemed like Dio rather than Apollon to me. Though this one (http://www.artfromgreece.com/StatuesBronzes/S22.jpg) is quite nice. Oh urgh, they have a sovereignty Goddess mask (though they call her "good fortune") as well. I haven't been to the Art from Greece site in awhile as it is just too bloody tempting.

Oooh, pretty! And their prices aren't bad, either. Luckily for me, I don't really need (or have room for, for that matter! :)) any new statuary right now!

Ohhhhh! Do you, by any chance, intend to take any photographs of the finished work? I`d love - providing you are comfortable - to take a look!

And what happened to your pantheon page? I loved it!

I could--it may take a while, since I haven't done this before and there may abe a good deal of trial and error. :)

As far as I know it's still there--you mean the one with the prayers, right?

Yup!

I always like to see what you`re up to, since you`re always so positive, and life-affirming. It`s a fantastic thing, and definately a lift to the day.
