(no subject)

Well, I'm not sure what to say--I'm not even sure why I am starting this thing (or why I'm starting it a few days before I'll be offline for a week!)--but I might as well jump right in.

I've just made a "Better Than Sex" Cake. It isn't, of course, but it is pretty decadent. We're having company tomorrow, and for once it isn't for a meeting, study group, or ritual, so I'm looking forward to socializing without heavy thinking entering into it. In a few weeks we'll be back to the usual stuff--well, I enjoy that as well!

Are you the hearthstone from Hellenion? I liked your hymns. They were simple but elegant. I didn't appreciate most of the other poetry I saw there, but yours were nice. :-)

Yes, I am (at least I don't know of anyone else going by that name there :)). Thank you for the kind words--I know I don't really have the poetic gift so it really is nice to hear that someone else has enjoyed what I've written.

And now I really have to stop procrastinating and get finished packing the car! :)
