I used ljbackup to back up my LJ (go figure). Should I be using ljarchive instead?

EDIT: Well, I tried ljArchive, and the interface is certainly prettier, but it skipped downloading a number of entries, which I don't like. Well, I'll play with it some, but that's quite a flaw as far as I'm concerned.

I'm looking for something to use too. One of them doesn't work cause not all of my entries are in English. Grrr. So I'm having to do a manual backup.

Did you get a message saying it was skipping some, or did you just not find them?

I used LJ Archive and at first, it looked like it had skipped the first year or so of my entries, but then I pushed some button or other (don't ask me what!) and everything was there. It was strange, and a bit discomforting.

You're right--I checked, and although the grid view doesn't show all my entries, they do seem to show up on the calendar view. Of course I'm a lot more likely to actually use the grid view...

But thanks!

Because of all the news I did a backup too. I've meant to for years. I used ljArchive and it seems to have worked okay.
