You scored as Polyhymnia. You are Polyhymnia, the muse of sacred poetry. Religion is the biggest part of your life, and you're not afraid to let everyone else know. You are kind of shy and not great at letting people know who you really are.

I got the same thing. :-) I never really acknowledged the Muses, though. I sometimes honor Apollo as the leader of the Muses. Or, in the Roman conception of things, Minerva presides over many of the fine arts.

Really, Apollo wasn't the main Roman fine-arts patron? Interesting--wonder if it was an expansion of Minerva's association with crafts...

Apollo was known mostly to Romans as a god of healing.

Minerva was the goddess of skilled labor... eventually professions like writing and acting came to fall under her umbrella.

That is really interesting. Was she a particularly popular goddess among the Romans, to take on so many different functions?

Every trade guild honored its own patron deity, but many of those guilds would have honored Minerva.

She was also part of the Capitoline Triad (Jupiter, Juno and Minerva) which was the most honored caste of gods on a state level.

Wow, this is actually a decent quiz! Yours definitely suits you, and I got Clio, which I think is particularly appropriate. :)
