This one went a way different from what I'd intended for Winter Finding, but I liked it, so here it is.


Hail to fair Skadhi, bright etin-bride,
wolf-friend, mountain-woman, foe of chaos
who set the snake above the son of Laufey,
strong-willed and strong-hearted, self-sufficient
one who knows more than any the value
of community, the strength of family.
Skadhi, distant love of fair-footed Njord,
faithful daughter, your father looks down
upon you each night from the starry sky.
Skadhi, goddess of the snows, we hail you!
